Strong Collaboration between ICT Group and TU/e
On Functional Safety for future vehicles

ICT Group and the Software Engineering and Technology (SET) cluster of TU Eindhoven's Department of Mathematics and Computer Science are strengthening their collaboration in the field of Functional Safety for future vehicles. As part of this, Koen Peppelman (Business Unit Manager ICT Electronics) and Johan van Uden (Technical Consultant ICT Electronics) handed over a Lab-Setup to Prof. Dr. Mark van den Brand and Dr. Ir. Ion Barosan (Assistant Professor in the SET cluster). This Lab-Setup consists of an advanced TTTech Automotive controller (ECU) with ICT Group's model-based development platform Motar.
Functional Safety
The model-based development platform will be used for research projects in the Functional Safety domain, a key area of expertise for TU/e and a priority for the Automotive industry. The donation and the contribution in the research projects are a recognition of the strong collaboration between ICT Group and TU/e, and a strong proof point in the shared commitment in advancing research and development in the field of Functional Safety.
Dr. Barosan, Assistant Professor of the Software Engineering and Technology cluster at TU/e is very excited about the collaboration: "We are excited to strengthen our collaboration with ICT Group on Functional Safety for future Vehicles. ICT Group is also very pleased with the use of Motar and TTTech controllers within Eindhoven University of Technology. "We are delighted to make this donation to the SET cluster and to support their research in the area of Functional Safety," said Koen Peppelman.
